About Our Kinesiology Sessions

Kinesiology For Adults

Are you feeling stuck, stressed or dissatisfied with life? Is your health not where you want it to be? Are you lost for answers and not quite sure what your symptoms are telling you or how to support yourself? Perhaps it’s your limiting beliefs, coping mechanisms, fear of failure or anxiety stopping you from achieving your goal. Whatever is a concern or problem for you – the tool of muscle testing allows us to identify what is stopping you from achieving your goals, or what underlying energetic imbalances (stressors) are contributing to your physiological or psychological symptoms.

In a session, we look at your:

Mindset (thought processes, limiting beliefs, self-talk)

Trauma (physical injury, emotional or past trauma, toxicity overload)

Coping mechanisms (perfectionism, people-pleasing, defensiveness, controlling tendencies, taking on too much responsibility)

Survival Responses (flight, fight, freeze or fawn stress responses)

Lifestyle factors (inadequate sleep, lack of movement, poor nutrition)

Physiology – how the above factors influence the state of the body (causing us tension, discomfort or distress)

If you are struggling with the listed symptoms, Courtney may be able to help with:

Anxiety – excessive worrying, nervousness, panic attacks, sleep issues.

Low self-confidence & self-esteem – perfectionism, constant self-doubt, negative mindset, comparing self to others.

Lack of resilience – inability to bounce back from challenges, loss or trauma.

Kinesiology For TEENS

Growing up can be tough, especially for our Teens. There is a lot of pressure for them to fit in, feel accepted, achieve, and live up to others’ / societal expectations. Not only are their hormones flying everywhere, but they are trying to find a sense of identity and navigate the stressors and challenges of life. As much as we as parents, carers and coaches try to teach and cater to their needs, sometimes we get stuck for answers

Kinesiology and the tool of muscle testing takes the pressure off you, and them, to figure out what’s beneath or behind their symptoms or behavioral concerns. Often, their stress or behavioural pattens aren’t immediately obvious and need to be brought into our conscious awareness before they’re understood and worked through. When our Teens can begin to understand who they are – why they think, feel and act the way that they do – they can learn to have more compassion for themselves, feel a sense of empowerment and start to gain autonomy over their own lives.

Kinesiology For YOUNG CHILDREN

Courtney has worked with many children of all ages who have found it difficult to settle into the new year, whilst struggling to navigate their home, social and school life. Children can often find it difficult to understand and manage their emotions, adapt to new situations or bounce back from failure and loss. Other children may experience frequent stomach pain, headaches, nightmares and bedwetting which can be manifestations of underlying worry, fear and anger. They want to be seen, heard, understood though as much as we as parents, carers and coaches try to teach and cater to their needs, sometimes we get stuck for answers.

Kinesiology can help bring awareness to underlying imbalances (stressors) that may be contributing to your child’s emotional, physical, or behavioural concerns. By beginning to understand what might be behind their challenges like emotional outbursts, nightmares or unexplained stomach aches, it can offer both you and your child a greater sense of clarity and reassurance.

If your CHILD is struggling with the following, Courtney may be able to help:

Anxiety – excessive worrying, nervousness, not sleeping, nightmares, bedwetting.

Inability to communicate – shutting down, struggling to communicate their feelings or needs.

Poor focus & concentration – fidgety, feeling restless.

Emotional outbursts – lashing out, getting physical, loosing control.

Lack of resilience and low self-confidence – struggling to bounce back from challenges, feeling defeated or discouraged.

Physiological symptoms – painful tummy, chest or head

Physiological issues – digestive issues/habits and skin issues

Benefits of seeing a Kinesiologist

Works With The Subconscious And Inner Wisdom

Kinesiology allows us to access your subconscious, or some would say ‘inner wisdom’ or ‘divine intelligence’. Your subconscious is like a databank or library for your whole life. It stores all your core wounds, limiting beliefs, emotions, and experiences – especially the experiences that have once caused you pain. By accessing this ‘intelligence’, we can ask you specific questions and gain information about the current state of the body on a cellular, energetic and physical level. Not only do we have an idea of the energetic blocks or stressors contributing to your psychological or physical symptoms, but we are also able to work with the same ‘intelligence’ to bring you back into balance (homeostasis).

Takes The Pressure Off & The Guess Work Out

There’s no better way to understand your body than by listening to it. Symptoms don’t happen by accident — they’re signs that something is out of balance. When we ignore them,  they can manifest or build over time, impacting our quality of life. Kinesiology encourages us to pay attention, ask questions, and ultimately, honour ourselves. This also goes for our children. If we can begin to see the world through their lens, it's much easier to guide, support and help meet their needs moving forward.

It Saves You

It’s not uncommon for people to have explored different paths — from doctors to specialists to other practitioners — and still feel like they haven’t quite found the answers they’re looking for. Kinesiology offers a different lens. Rather than trying to 'fix', treat or diagnose,  it works to understand what the body is energetically holding onto and why. From there, we can create a clearer and more intentional way forward — whether that’s having continual sessions and/or involving other supportive professionals.

One Of The Most Comprehensive Of The Modern Natural Therapies

Rather than focusing on symptoms or labels, it takes a whole-person approach — recognising that true wellbeing is shaped by the balance between the physical, biochemical and emotional aspects of the body.
Many healthcare approaches tend to prioritise just one area — whether that’s nutrition, muscular-skeletal health or mental and emotional wellbeing. Kinesiology, however, works with all three equally. When one aspect of a person's health is overemphasised or overlooked, the body can become imbalanced. By supporting all aspects, we are able to restore harmony, balance (homeostasis) and create a more complete picture of wellbeing.

Prevention

Seeking support sooner can help create a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to ongoing health, emotional or learning challenges — for both you and your child. Rather than waiting for things to build or manifest, kinesiology focuses on developing awareness and supporting the body’s response to stress. Over time, this can help create more ease, resilience, confidence and a stronger sense of well-being moving forward.
